Jake Hilton
Left Handed Pitcher
I have been playing baseball for 15 years, recently winning the SCIAC conference Pitcher of the Year award, 1st Team All-West Region, and starting the first game of the 2024 NCAA D3 World Series.
I have been coaching youth baseball since 2016. During this time, I have managed 9U-14U teams in tournaments and regular season games. I also give private pitching lessons to youth players.
My major is Psychology and I apply these skills every time I take the mound. As a Team Captain for my college, I am often asked by teammates to help them sharpen their focus and elevate their game.
Please see my EXPERIENCE page for more details on my playing history as well as the VIDEO page and TRACKMAN DATA pages for details on specific pitching performances. References and contact information are below.

Jake Hilton is a great baseball player and an even better person. Jake has been a starting pitcher for us since his freshman year and has been an elite competitor and very reliable. His stats to this point of his career speak for themselves. From a character standpoint, Jake brings a positive attitude and energy to the baseball field. When he’s not pitching, he’s fully locked into the game and supporting his teammates. He is a leader and a true team player. Jake has my strongest possible recommendation as a player and person.
Eddy Kleinhans - Director, East Bay Cyclones Travel Program
Jake is relentless in his pursuit of his goals and possesses a strong work ethic. He is a sounding board for his teammates. I've never seen him shy away from a challenge. He performs under pressure.
Jake leads by example in his practice habits, encouraging his teammates to put forth maximum effort during training sessions. He maintains a calm demeanor on the mound, dealing with the adversity presented by the position by simply removing his cap, taking some breaths and stepping back up to the mound to deliver the next pitch. He pitches with pizzazz. His self-commentary is legendary and he's smiling and talking to himself during his entire outing. Regardless of how he performs, he immediately returns to being a great teammate and leading his team from the bench.
As a part of our East Bay Cyclones organization, he has worked in the role of baseball camp counselor and coach, serving as a mentor and role model for our young players. He is the epitome of what our organization strives to develop in our athletes. Whenever I’ve introduced Jake to another teacher or mentor, I consistently get feedback stating how much of a pleasure it is to work with Jake.
